Saturday: Project Cupboard

This morning some of our friends were having a garage sale. I had been looking around for something to help with my lack of cupboard/counter space in the kitchen but didn't really expect to find anything today.

I was pleasantly surprised!

I found this cupboard and bought it for $3! I'm sure Josh looked at me like I was a little crazy at first. It doesn't really match the rest of what we have.

I scrubbed, masked, spray painted, mod podged, and ta da! I'm so happy with this little addition to my kitchen. I should have taken a before picture of the end table that was in this space before and the things shoved under it that now get to go in a cabinet. I'm also proud that I accomplished all of this before noon on a Saturday!

Tonight we went over to the McRae's and made dinner with Nate. Potato Salad and BLT's panini style...mmmmm! We watched some Bones with Chris & Sue and got to see this beautiful sunset.

Yesterday I got to Skype a little big with my family while I was at work. Jacob and Avalene were so cute talking to my parents and siblings. They also liked seeing the kitty!
