Lynette - my new mom.

I just wanted to take a few minutes this morning to say a few things about my mother in law. I wanted to do it when I was posting pictures from the party on Sunday but I was in a rush.

I am so grateful for the family that the Lord has provided for me here in Las Cruces. Being apart from my own family would be so much harder if I didn't have Josh's family just pull me in and make me one of their own. My mother in law is somebody I am so grateful for right now. I have so many reasons to thank her and look up to her.

She is such a woman of God. I love the fact that her relationship with Christ is the most important thing in her life. She is dedicated to prayer and I believe that makes her witness as a Christian so powerful. She is a hard working woman who does so much for her family. She is friends with her children taking time out of her busy day to spend with any of her children who need her attention. I admire that.

She is a quiet servant. Even at her own party last Sunday she came in and was immediately looking for ways to serve. Helping get food for people who couldn't get up themselves and trying to serve birthday cake. She doesn't think of herself first but others.

I have been inspired by the mother and wife that she is, and trying to take note of the things I need to grow in. I love that I can talk to her like a friend and a counselor. I love that I can ask her questions about what she has learned in her marriage and try to apply that to being the wife of her son. I love that she has known me for over 17 years and I still get to call her "Aunt Lynette"!

Thank you for raising a Godly son who is hard working and has qualities that many guys are without. Thank you for allowing Josh and I to make decisions and never be afraid that you are going to think less of us for anything we might differ on. Thank you for reminding me and people are more important than things and living that out in your life. For not being upset when I broke your little blue plate. =)

We love you Mom. Thanks for all that you do.
