Two month celebration!

"Monthiversaries"... I am not and have never been a huge fan. The nature of my premarital relationship with Josh was very difficult because we were apart so much. Counting of months made the time seem to go slower and so when I tried to lose track of the days, weeks, and months, I was always more pleasantly surprised at the speed of progression. June 26th came and went without notice - the "one month" anniversary of our marriage. Yesterday at lunch Josh and I were talking and he said, "Would you like to use one of our gift cards and go out to dinner tonight?" I agreed and so we made plans. Later in the afternoon I realised that it was two months from the date of our wedding! Dinner was lovely, we ate at Red Lobster using the gift card Josh's grandparents gave us.

Perusing the menu to decide which seafood delicacy he should order!

Our drinks - I had been wanting to try this creamy
"mudslide" since the last time I ate at Red Lobster

Josh was trying to shoo away some bugs and ended up smacking me in the face!
It was pretty funny and I couldn't stop laughing before the timer went off.

Our attempt at a "serious pose"

Lacey running in the background

I was making Portia fly and Lacey would try and get her.
We tried to take video but the battery died just then.

Hebrews 13:4-7
Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.  Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."  So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"  Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.

Lord make me like you, please make me like you.
You are a servant, make me one, too.
O Lord, won’t you give me your strength everyday
To build a community, to follow your way?
