I know it's a little early, but since Josh and I will be gone for Christmas itself I thought I'd get a head start on decorating the apartment and feeling festive. So this afternoon I pulled out all the Christmas decorations I have compiled and did what I could while listening to the only Christmas CD I have!
Josh came home and helped me hang up ornaments. We are planning on getting a little tree but since I have been given so many ornaments over the years by grandparents, Grams, home made ones, etc, I decided I needed a more efficient way to display them. I enjoy looking at each and every one of them, thinking of the love that went into making them and buying them. I have a beaded ornament from my great grandma for each Christmas since I've been born. Grandma and Campo have also given me one each year from some place they traveled to. Montana, Alaska, Canada... I love them all. They're so special.
Right to left: Beaded one from Grama Glenda, baby's first Christmas ornament, reindeer from Alaska I think, glass star, beaded something from Grams, Eskimo from Alaska.
The finished product. I still have at least 15 ornaments aside from these.
Mom gave this to me last year I think. The date it on the back as it is on almost every single one of my ornaments. I so appreciate her doing that, it's nice to remember when I got each of them. This little on with a bell on it from Mom fits great on our front door!
So glad you are enjoying them! Can't wait to see it!
