This year we were blessed yet again with the chance to spend a week camping in Wyoming. It is always such a wonderful time to be with family and enjoy relaxing in God's beautiful wilderness!
It was so fun to have Uncle Phil and Aunt Liz and their kids this year. They were in Utah for the wedding and wanted to extend their vacation so they spent a few days with us before heading further east for Yellowstone and some other fun sites.
Some of the highlights of this trip were:
Setting up tents in the rain
Rafting (and rafting in the rain)
Corn Hole (I.E. Bean bag game)
FOOD
Fires
Mafia
Hiking
Fishing
Our first night was a potluck - Grama provided the hot dogs and everyone else brought sides. This was the only meal the whole group had together, after this the Webbs and Terps did meals separately.
The great expedition! I didn't get any rafting pictures as my camera isn't waterproof. Hopefully I'll get some of Nate's footage that he took with his Go-Pro on our second trip.
Corn Hole excitement!
Joshy receiving his traditional 13th birthday present. A fly fishing rod made by hand by Campo!
Sarah and I carrying a tree
Pocket stew!
That's right, your personalized stew packet goes right on the fire! By the time it's ready you're so hungry it tastes like a little bite of savory heaven.
7 girls in one tent with lots of room to spare! (I slept between Bethany and Anna)
Blister check
We've arrived! Barstow Lake
Last nature drive
Looks like you guys had a blast!
ReplyDeleteWhat is Sarah holding up? and I don't see any spare room in that tent...was that sarcasm?!
ReplyDeleteHaha I think it's a bug. No actually we could have easily fit three more bodies in that tent, there was plenty of room!
