The rest of September

Some fun highlights for the later part of September for me were...

Josh taking me on a wonderful date to Olive Garden!

 Faith came over (We FINALLY scheduled it!) for her birthday present from May - a sleepover with Josh and I where she got to pick what food and dessert we have, what movie we watch, etc. We had so much fun!

Yesterday we had a surprise party for Jared. Some people took him out for a "surprise lunch" to throw him off the track, but it turns out he wasn't suspicious anyway so he was even more surprised to come home to a house full of people!

They're so cute. =)

This afternoon we had family over for a delicious lunch of Diana's Mexican food so everyone could have the chance to see Nate and Rebecca. Grandpa sang us the song he did as a solo in church this morning.

Matt's 21st birthday party

We had a wonderful time last Saturday celebrating Matt's birthday! It was a really great time of friends, food, and fun!

Birthday Celebration for Matt, Hope, and Josh

This threesome is actually a pretty exciting round of birthdays! Actually aside from Sarah and I (Who are the only non-summer birthdays) everyone has a pretty eventful birthday this year. Nate turned 25, Matt 21, Hope 16, and Josh 13. (19 and 23 aren't very exciting birthdays...)

Redlands/Forest Home Adventure

My cousins Jessie and Chrissy took a trip and since Chrissy normally takes care of Jessie's baby they asked Hope to come and babysit for the two days that they were away and Brandon had to work. Mom got a hotel and we hung out in that area while Hope watched Jameson and we turned it into a fun trip! Mom and I visited Oak Glen first.

At 2 pm we checked into our hotel and spent the afternoon relaxing by the pool and enjoying the AC of the room. 

On Friday afternoon Mom and I went to Forest Home which is about 20 minutes from Jessie and Brandon's house and met up with our guys who came up there for men's retreat. We had a picnic lunch while they waited for people to arrive and check in. This meant that we actually got to see Joshy on his birthday and see him all excited about his first men's retreat!

Labour Day

We had a nice Labour Day over at Uncle Phil's house! It was a beautiful day, great for swimming, ping pong, and salsa eating!
