On the morning of New Year's Day Josh and I made breakfast burritos!
Mom watching the Rose Parade
Traditional lunch of sandwiches!
What are brothers for? Putting beans on your nose.
That evening Josh and I went out with Nate for some time with just him.
The last day we were there it was down to just the Grandparents, Rupprechts, and Rebers.
We went out for "rolled tacos" at the favourite mexican restaurant!
Nate got super huge burritos
That evening we did Farmington Station again like we had with Sarah and Sam
This time we did it with the whole family!
We enjoyed watching the beautiful lights show
And then we did some skating on the little ice rink!
We warmed up in the rooms they have with fire places and comfy seating
Then in typical Rupprecht fashion we found the most dangerous area possible (play equipment covered in snow which is VERY slippery) and turned it into a recipe for disaster but TONS of fun! Why not play tag on a surface that may as well be the ice skating rink plus drop offs and metal bars all over? =)
Again in typical Rupprecht fashion the only "injury" was inflicted on nothing to do with the wild and crazy game. Someone decided to throw a snowball with an ice chunk in it and poor Sarah had a nice bump on her head from that one.
It was a wonderful way to close the trip! We made fun memories this evening and all enjoyed ourselves and the beautiful scene around us.
Indeed we did!
