Sunday soccer game

Sunday morning was crazy, Joshy had another 8 am game that he showed up to but the other team was a no show. They forfeited so we went to church and caught the last half of Sunday school and the first half of the worship service then back to the field for another game. This was seriously the best game I've ever seen in my life. The kids played so well. Everyone worked hard and had really good attitudes. The other team was up several points and then in the third quarter our team caught up and from then it kept going back and forth! It was so suspenseful and fun. Everyone was on their feet yelling every time a goal was made on either side. Anyway it was super fun, and the coach was great. Even though we lost he encouraged the boys so much saying that he wouldn't exchange winning for that game because it was so good.

Soccer games, frist day back in California

I realised that the post from Amal & Sudha's was from Saturday night and these pictures are from Saturday morning and day. So anyway this post is from Saturday the day after we got back to California from Utah.

Joshy had an 8 am game for playoffs. It was cold! There was frost all over the grass and it was very pretty to look at. Not common for So Cal.

Between the morning game and afternoon one I went out with Sarah and Amy for breakfast at a coffee shop Sarah wanted to try out. They were brewing coffee from Auggies that my cousin's husband Austin runs. It was fun to talk to the people working there about mutual friends!

Later on Josh and I spent quite a while slicing the meant for a huge piece of ham and roast beef that Mom got on great sales!

It was a busy first day back but just the start of a busy weekend! Later on that evening we went to Amal & Sudha's for dinner then the next day Josh and I drove to OC and back three times for church, soccer game, church, dinner with Buzz's parents, and then to the Wak's for study. =) Monday was the first day in almost a month we would be able to relax and have nothing to do! Except give haircuts, working with Verizon, and fish taco night. ; )
