My first 24 hours home!

I am so blessed to be able to fly home to visit my family and to be able to go to my cousin's wedding this weekend. Here is what's happened in the last 24(ish) hours!

I had a very wonderful and relaxing flight. Here is my plane!
Southwest is honestly the quickest airline I've experienced, the process is so streamline.

My room was so beautiful and ready for me to occupy. My first task when I got home
was to follow a trail of clues that Hope and Josh put together, that lead me to some ice
cream Matt bought, and a poem Joshy wrote for me. I have the best siblings!

Gave Hope the belated birthday present from Josh and I.

I told her she was very fortunate to actually get this sweater.
I liked it so much I wanted to keep it SO bad! And even though
I combed the store, this was the only one I could find.

This morning I had an appointment at the chiropractor.
Mom and Dad decided to make appointments too and go with me!
Then Dad and I went to the Farmer's Market and bought fruit for
juicing this next week. We also had a breakfast of fruit samples. =)

After the Farmer's Market I went to Amal and Sudha's and got to visit with them
and the boys. It was so great to catch up and get some Jonny/Ethan love.
Joshy and his team played a great soccer game. They won 4-0. Go Red Devils!

Got to see Grama and Grampa at the game. It was hot, if you couldn't tell...

Joshy's biggest fan. =)

You can't tell but that's Joshy between Mom and Grama running through the tunnel.

After soccer I helped Dad do some work on the living room. I spackled the nail holes around one window, and painted the trim around two more.

We had a dinner of fresh salsa and chips, went to the park to watch the sunset and kick
the soccer ball, then came home and played the newest favourite game, Pandemic.

Now I need to catch some ZZZ's so I can get up early. I have to be ready for Chrissy's wedding by 7:30 am so we can leave for church because we go to the wedding straight after. Tomorrow is going to be a long but fun day!

Gracie and Lukas's birthday party!

We had a fun birthday party for Lukas and Gracie last week! I don't have time to say anything, but it was a lot of fun!

Fort Seldon

Today we went to Fort Seldon National Monument! It was the Annual Frontier Days event celebrating and memory of the soldiers who lived at the fort protecting settlers from bandits and Apache indians. It was pretty fun, the weather was GREAT! We loved the drizzly rain and cold which was a breath of fresh air after so much heat this summer. Today has been a real treat.

Meat roasting on a self rotating spit.

 Josh and Nate

Adobe oven, we ate some freshly baked bread from this.

Like I said, it was a beautiful day.

The only picture I made it into.

Cactus flower!
