Some life in August

This will be kind of a random post...because nothing BIG has happened. It's just been a kind of normal month with normal days.

One of the FEW things about New Mexico tha

 I consider to be a redeeming quality is the sky.

The kids were playing on the playplace one day while I was reading, and when I looked up I saw this - a shoe - laying on the table. I don't know why but it just struck me as SO funny that Jacob would lose a shoe, bring it to me, and keep playing without me even noticing! He's a funny little guy.

All purpose refrigerator carrier. I love my clever husband!

Wes gets really cold in restaurants so he goes outside to warm up. =)

Josh decided to keep him company!

I had this for breakfast one morning and was stuck by a new thought. Eating healthy isn't difficult because it's not as good tasting. It's because it takes so long to prepare and even long to chew and eat! Just one orange and one apple took me about half an hour.

Josh's idea of what the US looks like. I'd highly recommend this as a group activity, it's very entertaining! Not so much that it's inaccurate, just that it's funny to see where someone puts those states that no one really thinks about often like New Jersey. (Can you find it?)

Someone stole all the siding off my parent's house. Weird, right?

I missed being able to go to the fair with my family. Glad they had fun though!

Josh gets back from Colorado today! He's been gone since Wednesday night.
